It seems he can do no wrong for the crowd at IGNITE. But do you really know the “Sex Idol” Rex Bacchus. He took the time to talk with us and let us know him after the bell. Question: How old were you when you saw your first live wrestling match? Rex Bacchus: I was 6 years old, and it’s one of my first clear memories of my childhood! Question: Where did you begin your training and who trained you? Rex Bacchus: I train at the Team Vision Dojo of Professional Wrestling owned by Larry Zybysko… I have trained under the likes of Jesus Rodriquez, Chasyn Rance, Aaron Epic, Lince Dorado, as well as many others Question: What is your entrance music? Any reason for picking this song? Rex Bacchus: My current intro song is called “Night by Night” by a band called Chromeo… I picked it because it’s almost as sexy as I am, and very easy to dance to! Question: What is your favorite cheat meal? Rex Bacchus: It’s not really a meal, but pizza is my favorite carb… Question: Let’s be honest, which do you prefer? Rex Bacchus: Marvel or DC? Marvel… Question: Who are some of your influences or people that you look up to in the business? Rex Bacchus: Major influence for me was “Macho Man” Randy Savage. Meeting him early in my life definitely helped to steer me in th direction of professional wrestling. Question: Who’s your closest friend in the industry? My closest friend in the industry is my brother from another mother, “Astonishing” Ace Andrews (get well soon broths so we can continue our conquest of the wrestling world!) Question: When you aren’t wrestling or training, what do you do to have fun? Rex Bacchus: Wrestling is my life, if I’m not wrestling or training, I’m watching wrestling, reading wrestling, thinking about wrestling… Question: Who would your dream match be against? Rex Bacchus: Since it’s a dream, Macho Man… Question: Other than the dream match opponent, is there anyone that you haven’t worked with that you would like to one day? Rex Bacchus: I want to work with anyone that is making noise in the industry! Specifically, I really enjoy Pentagon Jrs work, and I am definitely a fan of Ricochet as well… I could have a quality match with either of them! Question: Are you cat person or a dog person? Rex Bacchus: Dogs… I have 3 Question: What is something that not many people know about you? Rex Bacchus: There is plenty people don’t know about me.. I can breathe fire, and I travelled all over the country doing stand up comedy before I found my place in this wrestling world… Question: Finish this statement, if I wasn’t involved in wrestling, Rex Bacchus: I wouldn’t be maximizing my potential, and therefore I would be doing poorly mentally..
