After The Bell: Teddy Stigma
In this inaugural edition of After The Bell, we speak with Teddy Stigma who debuted with IGNITE Wrestling on November 18th at Okeechobee Invasion. Find out who he would like to wrestle and some little known facts about him.
Question: How old were you when you saw your first live wrestling match?
Teddy Stigma: 6 or 7. My oldest brother got a high-five from Lex Luger and almost lost his mind. Bam Bam Bigelo gave me such a cold stare that I lost my soul.
Question: Where did you begin your training and who trained you?
Teddy Stigma: I was originally trained in an abandoned shopping center outside of Baltimore MD. After three years of indies there, I moved to Central Florida to be trained by the Team 3d Academy
Question: What is your entrance music? Any reason for picking this song?
Teddy Stigma: Lonely Boy by Black Keys. I think entrance music is very important and I would describe this song how I would describe myself: gritty, a little rough around the edges, but still technically sound and lots of fun.
Question: Who are some of your influences or people that you look up to in the business?
Teddy Stigma: True influences are hard to come by, so no single person . I try not to put anyone on a pedestal, lest they let me down.
Question: Who would your dream match be against?
Teddy Stigma: I’ve had matches with a couple of my dream opponents already, like Jeff Hardy, Devon Dudley, the Headbangers. But I’ve always wanted to mix it up with Chris Jericho.
Question: Other than the dream match opponent, is there anyone that you haven’t worked with that you would like to one day?
Teddy Stigma: Too many to list! But locally – Jason Cade.
Question: What is something that not many people know about you?
Teddy Stigma: I have a pet Red Tailed Colombian Boa and I make delicious coffee.
Question: Finish this statement, if I wasn’t involved in wrestling, I would be doing…
Teddy Stigma: Art school; writing a novel; volunteering to be a permanent resident of a Mars space station.
