After The Bell, Braydon Knight

After The Bell: Braydon Knight

Do you really know the wrestlers of IGNITE?  We are going after the bell this time with Braydon Knight and learning what his other loves and passions really are in this installment.

Question: How old were you when you saw your first live wrestling match?

Growing up I only went to one Live Event and I believe I was 15…I didn’t attend my next live event until I was asked to come in to work as an extra for WWE in 2012.

Question: Where did you begin your training and who trained you?

I started training in 2009/2010 in New York at New York wrestling connection under Pat Buck, iTony Nese & Alex Reynolds. Also, I was very fortunate in the time I trained there to learn from Mike Mondo, Matt Stryker, Mikey Whipwreck and many other frequent guest trainers.

Question: What is your entrance music? Any reason for picking this song?

To Be honest I think I select a different song almost every show. Kind of play off the mood I’m feeling that day. But the constant that I’d say people know it’s me if Turn Down For What by Lil John, or Party Hard by Andrew WK. Those two songs show my fun loving party side, which hasn’t been seen here in IGNITE yet!

Question: Who are some of your influences or people that you look up to in the business?

There are a few people I look up to in this business for different reasons. First, off my trainers, all have accomplished awesome things. Another Being Chris Silvio, Met him a few months back and I immediately saw the drive and passion he has, not to mention has given me some great advice over the past few months since our meeting, for life and wrestling.

Question: Who would your dream match be against?

If I had to choose a dream match in wrestling. Hmm, I don’t know if I have one honestly, I never joined this business to have a dream match or an ideal opponent, I’m an entertainer and what to come in and do what I love to do no matter who is standing across from me. I don’t know maybe I have a different mindset then most in this business I’ve always jut been a fan of the Sport itself and just want to do the best that I can no matter who it’s against.

Question: Other than the dream match opponent, is there anyone that you haven’t worked with that you would like to one day?

Again, Whoever the promoter books me against, every match I try and do my absolute best regardless of the person’s name standing across from me.

Question: What is something that not many people know about you?

I’m a father of two and a pretty damn good chef. I’ve been featured on Food Networks Cooks vs Cons and also Spike TVs Frankenfoods.

Question: Finish this statement, if I wasn’t involved in wrestling, I would be….

If I wasn’t involved in wrestling I would most likely still be playing Arena Football, Or Football on a major level dream was always the NFL.
