Florida based promotion IGNITE Wrestling has officially partnered with streaming platform Twitch making it the second pro wrestling partner on the platform and will be introducing the spunky female-owned promotion to an entirely new audience.   IGNITE Wrestling has made a name for themselves on the indy scene with their line up of independent wrestling stars from around the world featuring names such as Lince Dorado, Dave Crist, Gary Jay, The Ugly Ducklings, Martin Stone, Mike Moretti, Serpentico, just to name a few. Today they announced the official partnership of their channel (twitch.tv/ignitewrestling) on social video platform Twitch in order to stream their events.

IGNITE Wrestling which has been no stranger to breaking the mold will now move into the livestreaming arena for future events and will be part of an elite field as they are only the second pro wrestling promotion to officially partner with the website.

For those not familiar yet with Twitch, it is predominantly a platform for gamers to stream console/PC ‘Let’s Plays’ and tabletop based games such as Dungeons & Dragons and Warhammer.  This is basically a win-win where first time wrestling fans can actually donate to a PPV if they enjoy the content through either a subscription (which starts at $5) or by cheering (Twitch’s on-service payment system).

Fans can also utilize Twitch Prime which is a premium experience on Twitch that is included with an Amazon Prime or Amazon Prime Video Membership depending on what country you live in. Twitch Prime includes bonus games and exclusive in-game content, a channel subscription every 30 days at no additional cost to be used on any Partnered and Affiliate channel, ad-free viewing on Twitch, exclusive emotes, and chat badge.

IGNITE Wrestling owner, Kim Artlip stated “We have never been one to conform to expectations and Twitch now allows us the opportunity to move into an exciting platform to reach a global audience and monetize in both traditional and inventive new ways. According to IGNITE Wrestling, new exclusive videos and behind the scenes shows will be coming to the Twitch channel.  Their entire video library will shortly be available for fans to get a taste of why IGNITE Wrestling has become a destination on the indy scene. Their first streaming event is set for October 21 and for more details please visit their official social media streams @ignitewrestling on TwitterFacebookInstagramTwitch, and Snapchat.
