After The Bell: Daniel Max Shaw

How old were you when you saw your first live wrestling match?
30 years old which is a very late start! I got hooked during the Attitude era seeing the Rock and Stone Cold Steve Austin and became an instant fan buying every magazine, going to every show, that I could and haven’t let up in years

Where did you begin your training and who trained you?
I took radio and television in Nassau Community College as my degree and have performed in various commercials and theater productions over the years, my 1st professional wrestling experience was interviewing and announcing for Southern Championship Wrestling starting in 2011

What is your entrance music? Any reason for picking this song?
Golden Swagger by Gary Crockett. Yes, it’s fun, loud, BIG horns and pumps me up to pump up the crowd for the action to come!

Who are some of your influences or people that you look up to in the business?
Lillian Garcia, the late great “Mean Gene” Okerlund, Bruce Buffer, Michael Buffer and many more

Who would your dream match be against?
N/A but my dream match to announce would be any Championship match at either WWE, AEW, ROH, NWA, Impact, ect…

Is there anyone that you haven’t worked with that you would like to one day?
I enjoy announcing the 1st time professional wrestler as much as I do the WWE veteran.

What is something that not many people know about you?
I love Hawaiian pizza

Finish this statement, if I wasn’t involved in wrestling I would be….
Missing a great source of friendship, camaraderie, and creative expression.
