Wrestling fans across the Treasure Coast had the opportunity to learn about the upcoming IGNITE Wrestling show coming to Walking Tree Brewery in Vero Beach on May 18th through articles in the Fort Pierce, Sebastian and Vero Beach editions of Hometown News.
The article reflects back over our three year journey that has led us to this show. When Hometown News first profiled IGNITE owner Kim Artlip, the Vero Beach woman had only a dream, supportive friends and family, and contacts throughout the professional wrestling industry. Today, the Vero Beach-based enterprise is an internationally recognized indy wrestling company, presenting matches that are aired via Twitch, Roku, Amazon FireTV, and others worldwide.
The article goes on to say, “We have a mission to bring independent wrestling to the forefront of sports in our local area and establish Vero Beach as a pro wrestling destination,” Ms. Artlip told Hometown News. “We are proud of the quality of our shows and the response from the local area.”
“We have made incredible inroads and have even larger plans for 2019, so get ready for the next level of excitement from our company. We are excited to be debuting seven new wrestlers at our upcoming show including former IMPACT star Caleb Konley,” who has held numerous championships, Ms. Artlip said.
The IGNITE Wrestling Women’s Division continues to grow as Avery Taylor makes her debut against “The Queen Of Crazy” Kilynn King. Ms. Taylor is a growing presence on the Florida pro wrestling scene.
After a two-year hiatus, Chip Day returns to singles action against Troy Hollywood. Fans may recognize Mr. Day from appearances with Wrestling Revolver, WWNLive, and numerous other shows.
The May 18 show at the Walking Tree Brewery will feature Aaron Epic vs. Caleb Konley; Troy Hollywood vs. Chip Day; OAO (Snoop Strikes and Hunter Law) vs. TECH; KiLynn King vs. Avery Taylor; Jaden Newman and Sage Philips vs. Critical Mayhem; Mercenary Pitbull Romeo Quevedo vs. Gabriel “GabeZilla” Lacey.
