So without further ado, our fans have spoken loudly in a record-setting response to let us know who they felt deserved this year’s recognition.

Serpentico Is Officially All Elite
We are excited for Serpentico as his “is he/isn’t he” status in All Elite Wrestling (AEW) has finally been put to rest in an exclusive interview with Inside The Ropes. Serpentico has confirmed that he is indeed All Elite. Our favorite masked wrestler has become a mainstay on the AEW Dark roster since March wrestling as Jon Cruz and Serpentico on various shows for the company. But his career-defining moment came when he tagged on the 30th Anniversary Match with Luther (Chaos Project) against the Demo God Chris Jericho and Jake Hager.
Fans began to question his ongoing IGNITE Wrestling storyline when he challenged newly crowned Undisputed Champion Troy Hollywood but we were mum on this match for our upcoming show until last week when we opened the match up to challengers for the title.
MAJOR ANNOUNCEMENT:
— IGNITE Wrestling 🔥 (@IGNITEWrestling) October 16, 2020
Due to Serpentico’s schedule and obligations in AEW, our title match against Troy Hollywood will be changed.
IGNITE Management is carefully considering what new challenger will be facing Troy Hollywood for the Undisputed Title.
While we had not confirmed his status at that time, we realized we needed to fill that match for our upcoming show and we will be announcing that contestant soon. Meanwhile, we wish Serpentico all the best in AEW and although we are heartbroken to see him leave, we knew that his talent would lead him to the biggest stages in wrestling. Love ya Snakeman and we urge you all to tune in and watch him as well as check out his indy matches on our Youtube channel.
