1.  TECH (MIKE MONROE AND TREVOR READ) 

IGNITE Wrestling’s first-ever tag team champions have taken on all comers for the past two years after winning the title in a gauntlet style tournament.  The big man, Mike Monroe and the more agile Trevor Read have been mainstays of the South Florida scene.  Read has been honing his craft in recent months training with the WWE legend, Gangrel which we can’t wait to see the results in ring. The most popular tag team in FL, they are the definition of fighting champions.

2.  CRITICAL MAYHEM 

This young tag team consisting of Andrew Merlin and Carlos Gabriel are one of the most underrated tag teams on the indy scene but have been dazzling fans in singles competition.  With a lucha influenced style they have developed one of the most stunning finishing moves in the FL indies.

3.  LEON SCOTT AND GABRIEL LACEY

When you combine the two largest men in IGNITE history you have a tag team that are monsters.  The Wanderer of the Wasteland and Gabezilla are a team that strikes fear in the hearts of their opponents at a nearly 600 lbs combined they are a definite throwback to the old hoss tag teams of the 80s and 90s.

NUMERO UNO 

Jaden Newman and Sage Phillip are a team to watch.  These Midwest sensation have made a name for themselves in singles matches but their tag team chemistry is off the charts.  

5.  THE BOMB SHELTER 

Fans were shocked to see the entry of the infamous intergender tag team, The Bomb Shelter who traveled through space and time to participate in our tag team gauntlet match.  Randi West, the self-proclaimed toughest broad in wrestling and Joseph Schwartz tore their way through several opponent with West taking some of the most OMG hits of the show.

6.  THE RAPTURE

The most junior team on our tag team roster, Jay Sky and Richard King have show themselves to worthy of attention as they have matched wits in singles and tag action with some of the most experienced members of our roster.  Currently holding belts in another promotion they have whetted their appetite for gold and are determined to carve their name into IGNITE history.

7.  OAO (HUNTER LAW AND SNOOP STRIKES)

This veteran team of Hunter Law and Snoop Strikes has set the scene on fire as they vaccilate between singles competition and appearances on national television to the tag team scene.  Their chemistry in ring nonetheless is fluid and uses the advantages of each other in the ring.  

8.  THE UGLY DUCKLINGS 

No tag team list in the indy scene would be complete without Rob Killjoy, Lance Lude and Coach Mikey.  Although we have not yet seen Colby Corino in action, he is another member of this team who are one of the most exciting and high flying teams in the sport.  Also as one of hte most popular teams around they quack their way to victory against opponent of all sizes and experiece. 

9.  THE GYMNASTY BOYS

We cannot have a list without including Timmy Lou Retton and White Mike, collectively known as the Gym Nasty Boys.  With widely different ring styles these two have joined forces flipping their way into multiple championships across the Eastern seaboard.  They have spent the Covid downtime working on returning as a leaner and stronger team than ever before.  

10.  THAT KLASSIC TAG TEAM

The duo of Kody Kastle and Kiko Harris are a prime example of the level of competitors to come from the Dudley Boy’s school at Team 3D Academy.  In just a few short years, these two have meshed to become a powerhouse in ring.  In addition, they are one of the most entertaining duos on mic and video with promos that are well thought out and funny as hell.
